Self-catering cottage located in the heart of historic Whithorn, 18 miles south of Newton Stewart and 3 miles north of the Isle of Whithorn. It is within walking distance of the archaeological site of Whithorn Priory, as well as shops, pubs and post office . Whithorn lies within the beautiful Machars of Galloway, within easy reach of a number of sandy beaches. The outdoor activities available here include walking, bird-watching, cycling, fishing and golf. It is an area rich in history and natural beauty, and famous for its connection with the cult film "The Wickerman".

The cottage comprises two bedrooms, one double and the other twin. There are storage heaters downstairs and electric wall heaters upstairs. The lounge features a wood burning stove, and the recently refurbished bathroom has an electric shower over the bath. The kitchen is fully fitted with microwave, electric oven and hob, toaster, kettle, fridge-freezer and washing machine.

At the rear of the cottage is a pleasant sun lounge, with access to a large garden laid out in the traditional Scottish 'toon' pattern, and backing on to open fields.

All bed linen will be provided. Charges for the electric heating is included. Coal and logs for the stove will be provided. Travel cot and high chair available on request.
